Classic Playback

Bill is one of the founding members of Classic Playback and has a passion for music and fundraising.  He has served on numerous non-profit and charity boards in New York and New Jersey.

He has helped raise over $300,000 in charities over the last 10+ years as a professional small business owner while partnering up with friends, colleagues, clients, small, midsize and large business owners to help the less fortunate.  Bill's goals are to add a classic rock musical component to fundraising efforts and reach out to as many people as possible.

For the past 30 years, Allison has been has been blessed to be the lead vocalist in one of the top NY bands, Paris New York. Besides performing at countless weddings & corporate events, she’s had the opportunity to open for such acts as Kool & the Gang, Snoop Dog & Pit Bull. Allison is currently one of the lead singers in Classic Playback.

Frank Tota’s musical journey began on Staten Island when he was 10, taking guitar lessons and being influenced by sound of The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Journey, Yes and countless other classic/progressive bands -  which later led him to form the band Fallen Angel with a group of high-school friends.   More recently as a founding member of bands such as Uncle Betty and Vinyl Traction, Frank has played hundreds of shows at bars, country clubs and private parties up and down the Jersey Shore from Keyport to Asbury Park.  He is proud to now also be sharing the stage with members of Classic Playback as they bring their unique sound of classic rock songs to the NY/NJ area.

Karen and Hallie (The Kaytelles) have been singing harmony music together for 20 years. When they met, their friendship was bonded by a mutual love of 70s AM radio; coincidentally, they are both also trained audio engineers. 

The vocal team is looking forward to sharing this classic rock journey with their bandmates!

Justin Negraval has been performing publicly for close to three decades. A Jersey native, he has been privileged to play keys for many of the state's finest bands and musicians, from the famous Jersey shore nightclubs, to the resort stages of Atlantic City.  He is continuously inspired by pop-rock legends like Chicago, Billy Joel and Elton John, and is honored to perform with his musical brothers and sisters in Classic Playback.

What an honor to take the seat behind the drums for this amazing group of friends and musicians!

Hard to believe that I have been at this for over 50 years… I’ve played so many shows, for so many people, all over the world.

Alex Mahoney is a seasoned saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist from the NY/NJ area, regularly performing at iconic venues like The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, BB King's, CBGB’s and The Cutting Room in NYC, and countless outdoor festivals. He has shared the stage with members of Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes and has opened for acts such as Southside Johnny, John Cafferty, White Lion, and Zebra. Alex's recording credits include the song "Rock it Steady" with the band Kill Van Kull, featured in the Ethan Hawke film "Staten Island" (aka "Little New York").
